Altis major goal aims to establish an offshore software development area in the Bahia State. This macro objective shall be deployed as follows :
 In a short time term, offer alternatives to attract software factories for mainframe platforms to the region, in order to transform it in a development branch for global players.
Create job and business opportunities for locals in order to increase the number of high level work positions, keeping qualified work force in the area.
Fulfill international software development standards in order to establish Bahia as an attractive region for offshore services contractors.
Unify and qualify the local software industry, leading it to a competitive level in domestic and global markets.
Increase and expand international activities thru a continuous educational program in cooperation with local Universities and knowledge centers.
Work together with Governmental entities [local and national] in order to create and establish proper public development policies for IT business and to stimulate IT services export. |
